Rodney Lee Russell, 38, resident of Saline Care Center, Harrisburg, IL died Sunday August 7, 2011 at 5:45 pm at Harrisburg Medical Center. Memorial services will be held Thursday August 11, 2011 at 6 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Thursday after 5 pm. Margaret Russell will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. He was born on January 21, 1973 in Harrisburg, IL to Ronald Russell and the late Rhonda (Marks) Russell. He is survived by a Daughter: Salena Russell of Harrisburg, IL; Father & Stepmother: Ronald & Debbie Russell of Harrisburg, IL; 3 Sisters: Nikki (Kevin) Hawkins; Angie (Mike) Dunning-Hazelwood and Jennifer (Jonah Ray) Butler all of Harrisburg, IL; Maternal Grandmother: Georgia Mitchell of Harrisburg, IL; Paternal Grandmother: Margaret Russell of Harrisburg, IL; Aunt: Patsy (Loren) Biddle of Harrisburg, IL; several nieces and nephews: Clay, Dustin, Brennen Hawkins, Allen and Amber Dunning and Brooklin and Briar Butler. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather: James Russell, Maternal Grandfather: Frank Mitchell; Nephew: Brayden Hawkins; Uncle: Joe Russell.
