Lynda Carolyn Mitchell, 66, of 103 Miller Street, Carrier Mills, IL died Wednesday December 14, 2011 at 10:39 am at St. Mary’s Hospital in Evansville, IN. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday December 20, 2011 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL and Reverend Darrell Ford will officiate. She was born on October 21, 1945 to the late William & Cora (Martin) Wiley. She married Jesse L. Mitchell on July 30, 1962 and he survives. She was a homemaker, enjoyed her grandchildren, great grandchildren and her beloved puppy dogs. She was a member of the Carrier Mills First United Methodist Church. She was survived by her husband: Jesse Mitchell of Carrier Mills, IL; 3 sons: Leo Mitchell; Lonnie (Tonya) Mitchell and Garry (Kelley) Mitchell all of Carrier Mills, IL; Sister: Cora Marie (Tom) Bailey of Florida; 5 Grandchildren: Jesse C. Mitchell, Lonnie Mitchell II, Megan Mitchell, Raychell Potts and Dillon Potts all of Carrier Mills, IL; and 4 Great Grandchildren: Devin, Kaiden, Brayden, and Addi.
