Sharon Kay Gee Gibbons

Sharon Kay Gee Gibbons, 70, of 640 Town Park Road, Harrisburg, IL, died Sunday April 22, 2012 at 1:45 pm at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday April 25, 2012 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Wednesday after 9 am until service time. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery and Reverend Stan Irvin will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church WOW Group, envelopes will be available at funeral home. She was born on June 28, 1941 in Grand Rapids MI, to the late Merritt and Beatrice (Miller) Butler. She married Larry Gee and he preceded in death in September 1980. She later married Billy Gibbons in June of 1982 and he preceded in death in November 2001. She was a homemaker and of the Nazarene faith. She is survived by a daughter: Kim (Bruce) Gibbons of Harrisburg, IL; sister: Mary Ellen Galvin of White Lake, MI; step-daughter: Julie Gibbons of Harrisburg, IL; 6 Grandchildren: Molly Gibbons, Kaci Sumner, Kory Sumner, Kody Sumner, Meagan Gibbons and Christopher Gibbons, and 1 great grandchild: Madilyn Sumner. She was preceded in death by her husbands, parents, brother: Darrell Butler and stepson: Larry Gibbons.
