Ruth Craig, 72, of Carrier Mills, IL died Wednesday May 16, 2012 at 12:26 pm at the home of her daughter in Inglewood, CA. Graveside services will be Wednesday May 23, 2012 at 1 pm at Lakeview Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. There will be no visitation all friends should gather at the cemetery. Reverend Ownly Williams will officiate and Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is in charge of arrangements. She was born on November 16, 1939 in Carrier Mills, IL to the late John Vincent and Katherine Mae (Taborn) Cole. She graduated Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School in 1957. She was a member of the Carrier Mills Galilee Baptist Church. She worked for 20 years as a retail cashier at the Boys Market in Los Angeles, CA and later was employed for 20 years at the Saline County Clerks Office She is survived by 2 Daughters: Tracie Craig-Porter of Los Angeles, CA; and Stacie Craig of Inglewood, CA; 3 Grandchildren: Erin Porter and Lezley Porter both of Los Angeles, CA and Vernon Davis III of Inglewood, CA; 5 Brothers: Myron Cole of Carrier Mills, IL; Phillip “Buzzy” Cole of Inglewood, CA; Vincent Cole, Anthony “Tony” Cole and Kirk “Pood” Cole all of Los Angeles, CA; 2 Sisters: Constance Casey of Riverside, CA and Rachel Stewart of Fontana, CA and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
