James Richard McEwan, 50, of 306 East Walnut Street, Carrier Mills, IL died Tuesday June 19, 2012 at his residence. Memorial service will be held Thursday June 21, 2012 at 7pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 pm until service time. Reverend Eddie Brooks will officiate. He was born on March 9, 1962 in Herrin, IL to the late Robert McEwan and Janice (Ritter) Lindle whom survives. He was a carpenter and served in the Army National Guard. He is survived by his parents: Leroy and Janice Lindle of Carrier Mills, IL; 2 Sons: Matt McEwan of Shawneetown, IL and Derick Partain of Harrisburg, IL; 2 Daughters: Amanda McEwan and Jamie Edwards both of Harrisburg, IL; 4 grandchildren: Trinity Evans, Kayden Murrow, Juelz Tullis and Kam Tullis; 4 Brothers: Ellis McEwan, Mike (Candy) McEwan and Mike Lindle all of Harrisburg, Il and John Lindle of Carrier Mills, IL; 3 Sisters: Karen Foster of Harrisburg, IL; Pat Jackson of Texas and Joyce Colbroth of Creal Springs, IL. He was preceded in death by Wife: Lori McEwan; Sister: Nancy Lindle; Granddaughter: Heaven Partain and Brother In Law: Mike Foster.
