Mary Alice (Roe) Greene

Mary Alice (Roe) Greene, 58, of 13293 Pittsburg Road, Marion, IL; died Saturday July 7, 2012 at 11:17 am at Herrin Hospital. Mary Alice has chosen cremation as her form of disposition. There will be no services at this time, in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Joyner Cemetery and may be mailed to the Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL as they are assisting the family. She was born on July 14, 1953 in Carmi, IL to the late William Bertis and Alice Fern (Lewis) Roe. She had resided in Southern Illinois for the past 16 years. She was a veteran of the US Navy, attended Northwestern University for 2 years and retired after 17 years of service from the Carbondale Office of the US Postal Service. She is survived by her Son: Brady Roe of Marion, IL; Friend: Debbie Binnall of Jacksonville, FL; Brother: Glen Roe of Austin, TX; Nieces & Nephews: Kim Guthrie, Melody Roe, Chris Roe and Mark Roe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Sister: Marilyn Roe and Brother: Ronnie Roe
