Paul Melvin Sheff, 65, of 7200 Battleford Road, Stonefort, IL; died Wednesday July 25, 2012 at 5:10 am at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Graveside services will be held Saturday July 28, 2012 at 11 am at Reids Chapel Cemetery, south of Carrier Mills, IL; visitation will be held Saturday after 9 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Father Tom Barrett will officiate. He was born on June 29, 1947 in Alton, IL to the late Harold Melvin and Dorothy Agnes (Wright) Sheff. He married Annie Gegg on November 1, 1968. He is survived by his wife: Annie Sheff of Stonefort, IL; Son: Paul (Angel) Sheff Jr., of Carrier Mills, IL; 2 Daughters: Dorothy Test of Vienna, IL; Brenda (Robert) Worknan of Harrisburg, IL; 7 Grandchildren: Jacob Burrell, Matthew Burrell, Tresa Sheff, Haley Sheff, Haven Test, Jessica (Jake) Durfee and Kaylee Workman; 1 great grandchild: Emily Durfee. He was preceded in death by a Son: Joe Sheff and Grandaughter: Dakota Shoemaker.
