Harold Ray Bebout

Harold Ray Potts Bebout, born February 11, 1955 to Earl and Mary (Milkan) Potts, adopted by Drue and Bertie Lee (Milkan) Bebout; survived by Charleen (McIlrath) Bebout married July 21, 1984. His children, four daughters, Melissa and Tim Swindle, of Southaven Mississippi, Teresa (Teri) and Ryan Hobbs of Harrisburg, Gina and fiancée Brennan Palmer of Harrisburg, and Lora Bebout of Harrisburg, son Ray and Heather Boon of Harrisburg. His grandchildren, Clay, Alyson, Hailey and Jacob Swindle, Austin Ewell, Tyler, Curtis, Hannah, Bobby Lawrence, Braxton Palmer, Kelsey, and Lacey Hobbs, Caleb, Alanah Patton, Logan, Noah, and McKenna Boon. He is also survived by sisters, Barbara Henny of South Bend, Indiana, Shirley and Ted Bohacko of Pennsylvania, Linda Day of Alabama, Brenda and David Humm of Harrisburg, Helen Duncan of Elizabethtown, Carolyn Reed of Cave-in-Rock, brothers, Ronnie and Evyln Potts, Jackie and Patti Potts of Harrisburg, Gordon and Kathy Bebout of West Frankfort, Lewis and Brenda Wayne of Pinkneyville, Thelma Jackson of Rosiclare, Carolyn, Patty and Linda, and Brother in Law, Kerry Marry and Mother in law Billie Hearn. Nieces and Nephews: Roberta and Carl Stephenson, Dixie and Carl Conley and Michael and Marti Hearn. He was preceded in death by both sets of parents, four brothers, Clifton Potts, Roger and Roy Branam, and Larry Potts, sister Patsy Madonia and sister in law Lorna Morris, Father in law, James Hearn. Harold enjoyed his grandchildren, and he had nicknames for each of them. He also loved it when he talked on his CB radio. He was Baptist by faith. He attended Stonefort General Baptist Church when he was able. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at the Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Rev. Jeff Owens will officiate. Burial will follow in Bankston Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM, Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Memorial donations may be made to the Bebout Family, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
