Shirley D. Adams, 86, of 209 Trammel Street, Carrier Mills, IL; died Wednesday September 19, 2012 at 10:56 am at the Harrisburg Medical Center. The family has requested that the services be private. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery. She was born on March 3, 1926 in Saline County, IL to the late James “Butch” Wiseman and Mamie Daisy (Burns) Holmes She married Clarence Adams on May 1, 1943 She was a member of Antioch Church in Stonefort, IL. She also had attended Providence Cumberland Presbyterian Church for many years with fond memories. She is survived by her husband: Clarence Adams of Carrier Mills, IL; Daughter: Debbie (Jim) Carrigan of Carrier Mills, IL; Son: David (Kathy) Adams of Sparta, IL; Daughter In Law: Dee Adams of Harrisburg, IL; 6 Grandchildren: Tina Smith, Julie Adams, Billy (Thea) Adams, Natalie Futrell, Brittany (Darrell) Wix and Misty (Jeremy) Fulkerson; 11 Great Grandchildren: Keysha (Chad) Bates, Jayden Ditterline, Luke Wix, Evelyn Marie Futrell, Lexee Fulkerson, Hayden Fulkerson, Ryli Fulkerson, Phoebe Adams, Abby Adams, Samuel Adams and Olivia Adams; 5 Great Great Grandchildren: Lydia Bates, Audrey Bates, Brielle Ditterline, Mackenzie Sisson and Trace Sisson, and Special Cousin: Terri Clark. She is preceded in death by a Son: Lloyd Adams and Daughter: Becky Adams. A special thank you goes out to the angels whom cared for Shirley: Brenda, Brittany, Devona, Donna, Javada, Katina, Misty, Natalie, Patty, and Raven.
