Glaydis Opal Green

Glaydis Opal Green, 87, of Mt. Olive, MS formerly of Creal Springs, IL died Friday December 28, 2012 at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Saturday January 5, 2012 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Saturday after 11 am until service time. Burial will be in New Burnside Cemetery and Reverend Bob Coburn will officiate. She was born on September 20, 1925 in Evansville, IN to the late Henry Cardual & John Frances (Blunk) Groves. She was a retired Central Service Technician from the Los Angeles County Hospital and a member of the Harrisburg Church of Christ. She is survived by 3 daughters: Glenda Deweese of Mt. Vernon, IL; Irene Hall of Mt. Olive, MS and Frances Hook of Silver Springs, Nevada; 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister: Martha Marie Donnell and brother: John Groves Sr.
