Doris Whitaker, 72, of 1690 Woolard Road, Eldorado, IL died Saturday April 27, 2013 at 7:20 am at her residence. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday April 30, 2012 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Tuesday after 9 am until service time. Reverend David Otten will officiate and burial will be at County Line Cemetery near Creal Springs, IL. She was born on August 5, 1940 in Charleston, IL to the late Arlie Thomas and Dorothy Maxine (Wheeler) Whitaker. She was a member of the Harrisburg Lutheran Church. She is survived by her Sister: Dorothy Whitaker of Eldorado, IL; Step-mother: Marjorie Whitaker of Matoon, IL; several nieces, nephew, great nieces, great nephews and 5 step sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece: Linda Veach.
