Sheila Felty, 51, of Stonefort, IL died Tuesday July 16, 2013 at 6:44 pm at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Funeral services will be held Friday July 19, 2013 at 12 noon at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be Friday after 10 am until service time. Burial will be in Little Saline Cemetery near Stonefort, IL, Reverend Blaine Felty will officiate. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or to the family for funeral cost. Envelopes will be available at funeral home. She was born on September13, 1961 in Marion, IL to Carl Vincent Martin and Carolyn Sue (Segers) Martin. She married Chris Felty in 1984 and he survives. She was a member of the Stonefort Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her children and her grandchildren as they were her life. She is survived by her Husband: Chris Felty of Stonefort, IL; Father: Carl Vincent Martin of Stonefort, IL; Mother Carolyn Martin of Stonefort, IL; 3 Daughters: Brooke (Gary) Reeves of Stonefort, IL; Beth (Richard Horn) Felty of Carrier Mills, IL; Kaitlin Felty of Stonefort, IL; Son: Troy (Amanda) Felty of Stonefort, IL; 6 Grandchildren: Kaylee Ann Felty, Brock Austin Felty, Mackenzie Paige Reeves, Delilah Renae Felty, Brylee Horn and Katie Heaton, several aunts, uncles, cousins and family members. She was preceded in death by her Brother: Zane Martin.
