Ronald English, 70, of Harrisburg, IL died Thursday August 15, 2013 at 1:45 pm at the Saline Care Center in Harrisburg, IL. Funeral Services will be held Saturday August 17, 2013 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Saturday from 11 am until service time. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery with military rites by the Carrier Mills American Legion, Harrisburg American Legion and the Army National Guard Ritual Team. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral home to cover funeral expenses, envelopes will be available He was born on May 23, 1943 in Ozark, IL to the late Kenneth Truman and Reva Maxine (Durfee) English. He worked as a painter and carpenter when he was able to work. He was also a Army veteran serving in the Vietnamn War. He is survived by 2 sisters: Barbara (J.R.) Holmes of Harrisburg, IL and Kay Reynolds of Carrier Mills, IL; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Gail Yovonne English.
