Burial will be in Sunset Garden Cemetery in Harrisburg, IL and Reverend Ownly Williams will officiate. He was born on September 30, 1980 in Carbondale, IL. He was employed as a manager at Morellos Restaurant in Harrisburg, IL He married Latisha Dolden on March 20, 2010. He is survived by his Wife: Latisha Evans of Harrisburg, IL; 5 Children: Keyandre, Mark, Brooke, Michael Jr, and Trinity; Mother: Rebecca Evans of Decatur, IL; Father: James B. Gibbs Jr; 2 Sisters: Mesha Gibbs of Decatur, IL and Nikki Gibbs of Marion, IL; 4 Brothers: James A. Gibbs of Decatur, IL; Xzavier, Aries and Jameson Gibbs all of Harrisburg, IL. Grandmother: Norma Gibbs of Carrier Mills, IL; Stepmother: Louvania Gibbs, Stepsister: Amber Hines; 2 Stepbrothers: Henry Hines Jr and Kyle Hines; Close Friends: Vearn Guyton III and Kirby Crabtree; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Michael touched countless peoples lives, he is loved by all who knew him. His smile would light up a room. He will be missed!
