Mary L. Willis, 83, of Carrier Mills, IL formerly of Kankakee, IL died Sunday October 6. 2013 at 10:31 am at Carrier Mills Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Friday October 11, 2013 at 12 Noon at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Friday after 11 am until service time. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. Reverend Ownly Williams and Reverend Mike Cole will officiate. She was born on November 24, 1929 in Carrier Mills, IL to the late Ward and Lillian (Lyles) Cole. She married Vollie Green and he preceded in death and later married Victor Willis and he also preceded in death. She was a retired mental health technician. She was a member of the Harvest Deliverance Center in Harrisburg, IL and a member of the Born Again Apostolic Church in Kankakee, IL She is survived by 5 Children: Victor Green of Carrier Mills, IL; Veda (Leroy) Cross Jr. of Marion, IL; Velma Green of Kankakee, IL; Marion (Charles) Constance of Dallas, TX and Paula Murry of Kankakee, IL; Brother: Clifford Cole of Rockford, IL; 2 Sisters Clesta Williams of Freeport, IL and Claretta Williams of Carrier Mills, Ill 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: 5 Brothers: Clyde Cole, James Cole, Isaac Cole, David Cole and Cecil Cole; 3 Sisters Gladys Allen, Nita Grey and Lula Orie.
