Robert J. Davis, 75, of 85 Womack Road, Galatia, IL died Saturday November 23, 2013 at 8:30 am at his residence. Per his request he has been cremated, a memorial service will be scheduled at a later time. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. He was born on December 20, 1937 in Evansville, IN to the late Elmer and Virginia (Anderson) Davis. He married the former Sonja Gibson in April of 1985. He was a retired Navy veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife: Sonja Davis of Galatia, IL; a son and 3 stepchildren.
