Delia Alice Hollerson

Alice Hollerson, 70, of 20 South Vine Street, Stonefort, IL; died Friday December 20, 2013 at 3:20 pm at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday December 23, 2013 at 12 noon at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Monday after 10 am until the service time. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery near Creal Springs, IL. Reverend Jeff Owens will officiate. Memorial may be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Southern Illinois or to the family. She was born on October 12, 1943 in Williamson County to the late Ray Holmes and Julia (Newell) Holmes who survives. She married Jean Hollerson on November 6, 1962 and he survives. She was a member of the Walnut Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by her Husband: Jean Hollerson of Stonefort, IL; Mother: Julia Holmes of Carrier Mills, IL; Daughter: Mary (Lenny) Martin of Cape Girardeau, IL; Son: Steve (Debbie) Hollerson of Stonefort, IL; 4 Grandchildren: Greg & Alex Martin of Cape Girardeau, MO and Samantha & Kaci Hollerson both of Stonefort, IL; 3 Great Grandchildren: Kaleb Martin, Carson Donner and Landynn Hollerson; 3 Brothers: Bob Holmes of Harrisburg, IL; Bill Holmes of Marion, IL and Gary Holmes of Creal Springs, IL and Sister: Betty Parton of Marion, IL.
