Edward Deering, 47, of 428 West South Street, Harrisburg, IL died Thursday February 6, 2014 at 3:31 pm at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. Graveside services will be held Monday February 10, 2014 at 11 am at Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, IL. Visitation will be held Monday from 9 to 10:30 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Reverend Harl Cockrum will officiate. Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses. He was born on October 2, 1966 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Gary Deering and Terry (Vinyard) Deering. He worked for many years at Petes Furniture Store in Carrier Mills, IL and was a former member of the Carrier Mills Sons of the American Legion. He is survived by his Mother: Terry Deering of Harrisburg, IL; Brother: Randy (Sharri Hamilton) Deering of Harrisburg, IL; Fiancee: Shari Golish of Harrisburg, IL; God Daughter: Melissa (Charles) Ray of Louisville, Arkansas and 3 God Grandchildren: Aliyah, Briana and Bubba Ray. He was preceded in death by his Father: Gary Deering and Brother: Billy Joe Deering.
