Loxie U. “Bones” Sanders Jr., 72, of 426 East End Street, Carrier Mills, IL died Tuesday August 19, 2014 at 1:19 am at Harrisburg Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Monday August 25, 2014 at 12 noon at Felty Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Monday after 10 am until service time. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery and Reverend Ownly Williams will officiate. He was born on August 20, 1941 in Hopkins Park, IL to the late Loxie And Clara (Tetter) Sanders Sr. He married the former Euralene Taborn on January 10, 1959 and she survives. He was a retired factory worker where he was employed by General Foods. He was a member of the Harvest Deliverance Center in Harrisburg, IL. He is survived by his wife: Euralene Sanders of Carrier Mills, IL; 3 Sons: Loxie Sanders III of Carrier Mills, IL; Kevin Ownbey Sanders of Kankakee, IL and Thomas Sanders of Carrier Mills, IL; 3 Daughters: Angela Hopkins of Peoria, IL, Louvania “Dee Dee” Gibbs of Harrisburg, IL and Shelby Weems of Atlanta, GA; 6 Sisters: Mary Magdalene Douglas of Riverside, CA; Regina Mason of Ann Arbor, MI; Marcia Smith of Chicago, IL; Susan Jackson of Park Forest, IL; TaMorie Harris of Aurora, IL and Carla Sanders of Galesburg, IL; 47 Grandchildren, a host of Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: 2 Sons: William Edwin Sanders and Erick Shawn Sanders; 2 Brothers: John Sanders and Leroy Sanders Sr.; and a Sister: Eula Polk.
