Marshall Stewart

Marshall Stewart, 70, of Springfield, OH, formerly of Owensboro, KY and Carrier Mills, IL, departed this life on Sunday, April 19, 2015 at home. He confessed his belief in the Lord as his Savior. He was born in Carrier Mills, IL to the late Morris and Monica Stewart. He was also preceded in death by his son, Morris Eugene Orlando Stewart, and his brother, Martin L. Stewart. He graduated from Carrier Mills High School and attended Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY. He enjoyed traveling, being sociable, meeting new people, engaging in conversation, cooking, and spending time with friends, and family. He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn the loss of his passing, his wife, Janet Deal Stewart, daughter, Jannette Stewart Sweeney (Maurice), sister, Kathleen Stewart Lewin (Henry), daughter-in-law, Jennifer Johnson Stewart, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two step- grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Memorial service is Friday, April 24, 2015 at Felty Funeral Home, 410 Oak Street, Carrier Mills, IL at 1 p.m. Visitation is from noon until 1 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Reverend Ownly Williams will officiate.
