Danny Maurice Taylor Sr. 66, of 109 North Tavender Street, Carrier Mills, IL died Monday May 4, 2015 at 12:10 am in Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville, IN. Funeral services will be held Saturday May 9, 2015 at 12 noon at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Saturday after 10 am until service time. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL and Reverend Jerry Huckleberry will officiate. He was born on March 23, 1949 in Carrier Mills, IL to the late Ted and Lillie (Taborn) Taylor. He was a retired coal miner where he was employed at Peabody Coal Company for many years. He was attending the Landmark House of Praise in Carrier Mills, IL. He is survived by a Son: Kip (Larissa) Taylor of Evansville, IN; 2 Sisters: Alyson (Gaylen) Duncan of Harrisburg, IL and Colleen Gooch of Carrier Mills, IL; Brother: Edward Deon Taylor of Elgin, IL; 7 Grandchildren: Lydia Bronte Taylor, Traxton D. Taylor, Lauren B. Taylor, Quenton X. Taylor, Tarynn D. Taylor, Blayze E. Taylor and D. Brielle Taylor; 2 Great Grandchildren: Trayce and Treasure Goines; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a Son: Danny Taylor Jr.; 2 Brothers: Lawrence Taylor and Dean Taylor and a Sister: Johnetta Richards.
