Jennifer Marie Barners, 51, of 927 West Barnett Street, Harrisburg, IL died Friday September 11, 2015 at 1:30 pm at Select Specialty Hospital in Evansville, IN. Funeral services will be held Friday September 18, 2015 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Friday from 10 am until service time. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery. Reverend Ownly Williams will officiate. She was born on November 8, 1963 in Chicago, IL to the late John and Katie (Johnson) Barners. She worked as a cook for most of her life. She was a member of the Lifestone Missionary Baptist Church in Chicago, IL before moving to Harrisburg, IL. She loved to dance and go bowling. She is survived by 2 Sons: Krishawn Barners of Harrisburg, IL and Jordan Reed of Chicago, IL; 3 Sisters: Ida White and Vickie Williams both Harrisburg, IL and Wilma Barners of Chicago, IL; 6 Brothers: Robert Barners of Harrisburg, IL, John Barners, Ricky Barners, Parnell Barners, Vincent Barners and Marcus Barners all of Chicago, IL.
