Dorothy L. “Dot” Fry, 88, of Ozark, IL went to be with the Lord surrounded by her family on Monday October 12, 2015 at 8:45 pm at Harrisburg Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Friday October 16, 2015 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Friday after 10 am until service time. Burial will be in Joyner Cemetery in Stonefort, IL. Reverend Ron Ferguson will officiate. She was born on September 20, 1927 to the late Oval Harris and Hazel (Holloway) Harris Davis. She married Harold W. Ferris and he preceded in death on March 18, 1964. She later married Clyde Jay Fry on September 12, 1965 and he preceded in death on August 11, 1991. Dot loved to read, and watching TV, especially her Soap operas, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church located south of Stonefort, IL. She is survived by her Daughter: Joy (George) Meistrell of Ozark, IL; 4 Sons: Mike Ferris of Sacramento, CA; Patrick (Carrie) Ferris of Conner, Montana; Tracy (Sarah) Fry and Terry (Cindy) Fry of Nashville, TN; 7 Grandchildren: Jamie, Ryan, James Michael, Nikki, Zachary, Trace and Dakota; and 7 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and Stepfather: Mike Davis.
