Lesa Marquetta Grover, 64, of 205 North Miller Street Carrier Mills, IL died Saturday October 17, 2015 at 5:20 pm as the result of an automobile accident. Graveside services will be held Friday October 23, 2015 at 11 am at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL with military rites conducted by the Carrier Mills American Legion, Harrisburg American Legion and The Scott Air Force Base Honor Guard. Visitation will be held Friday after 10 am until service time at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills. Reverend Debbie Hill will officiate. She was born on August 8, 1951 in Chicago, IL to the late Leslie Mark and Anna Brannock. She worked in retail most of her life. She attended the Daystar Chapel Holiness Church in Harrisburg, IL. She was a U.S. Air Force veteran serving a little over a year protecting our great country. She is survived by a Daughter: Nicole (Richard) Wright of Marion, IL; 3 Grandchildren: Thomas Wright, Jewels Wright and Dylan Wright all of Marion, IL; 2 Sisters: Brenda Phillips of Carrier Mills, IL and Diane Owens of Raleigh, IL; 3 Brothers: John Johnson and David Johnson both of Raleigh, IL and Matt Johnson of Harrisburg, IL; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a Brother: Freeman Johnson.
