Harley Cofield, 68, of 702 East Walnut, Carrier Mills, IL died Thursday 31, 2015 at 7:02 am at his residence. Memorial services will be held Tuesday January 5, 2015 at 6 pm at the Harrisburg Apostolic Church of God. Visitation will be held Tuesday after 5 pm until service time at the church. Pastor DeJuan Lanton and Pastor Ron Williams will officiate. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is entrusted with the services. He was born on March 12, 1947 in Carrier Mills, IL to the Gene and Sylvia (Cole) Cofield. He was married to Sandra Cofield on May 24, 1970 and she preceded in death on November 5, 1993. He later was married to Lucy Cofield on July 22, 1994 and she preceded in death on June 22, 2013. He was a retired coal miner. He loved photography and was a very goo craftsman. He was a member of the Harrisburg Apostolic Church of God. He was a former volunteer fireman for the Carrier Mills Fire Department. He was also a Army Veteran of the the Vietnam War. He is survived by his Son: Harley Nicholas Cofield of Carrier Mills, IL and Daughter: Kim Cofield of Marion, IL; several aunts, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, spouses, Brother: Rayfield Cofield and Sister: Nola Jones.
