Loren Alfred Headrick

Loren A. Headrick, 97, of Carrier Mills, IL died Saturday January 16, 2016 at 5:50 am at the Carrier Mills Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday January 19, 2016 at 12 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Tuesday after 9 am until the service time. Reverend Jeff Owens will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery with military rites by the Carrier Mills and Harrisburg American Legions and the Army National Guard Ritual Team. He was born on October 11, 1918 in Mitchellsville, IL to the late Howard and Della (Futrell) Headrick. He married the former Eva Butler on February 5, 1974 and she preceded in death on February 12, 2011. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the Reids Chapel General Baptist Church in Stonefort, IL. He is survived by 3 Children: Evelyn “Tootie” (David) Daughtery of Scottsburg, IN; Alfred (Amy) Headrick of Kopelei, HI; Bill (Pam) Headrick of Jeffersonville, IN; 2 Stepchildren: Sharon Hurley of Harrisburg, IL and James (Linda) Murphy of Stonefort, IL; Sister: Wanda Woods of Oklahoma; 13 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, and 6 Great Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife: Eva Headrick, parents, Son: Jerry Headrick; Daughter: Doris McDowell, Granddaughter: Wendy Nasby, 4 Sisters and 10 Brothers.
