Novella L. Lollis Keener, 84, resident of 6789 US Highway 45 South, Carrier Mills, IL died Sunday March 20, 2016 at 3:10 pm at Harrisburg Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 24, 2016 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Thursday after 10 am until service time. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery. Diane Wheeler will officiate. She was born on June 6, 1931 in Campbell, MO to the late Fred and Rosa (Lamunion) Elder. She married Arthur “Bud” Keener on September 8, 1964 and he preceded in death on April 7, 1997. She was a member and attended the Carrier Mills Main Street Church of God for many years. She loved to play Bingo, She was even named the “Bingo Queen” by many of her friends. She is survived by 5 Children: Connie (Don) Havlin of Dyer, IN; John (Crystal) Lollis of Carrier Mills, IL; Rita Pankey of Harrisburg, IL; Randy (Beth) Lollis of Chandler, AZ and Jason Keener of Marion, IL; Sister: Norma Lindsay of Carrier Mills, IL; 12 Grandchildren and over 20 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Arthur “Bud” Keener; Son: David Lollis; Sister: Mavis Sturman and 3 Brothers: Leroy Elder, Hobert Elder and Calvin Elder.
