Rita J. Adams, 66, of 123 Deborah Ann Drive, Carrier Mills, IL died Wednesday September 28, 2016 at 6:22 AM at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Graveside memorial services will be held Monday October 3, 2016 at 11 am at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. There will be no visitation. All friends should go directly to the cemetery. Reverend Jerry Wells will officiate. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with details. She was born on May 18, 1950 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Charles and Marie (Davis) Wells. She was a graduate of Carrier Mills/Stonefort High School and attended Dorrisville Social Brethren Church in Harrisburg, IL. She is survived by a Daughter: Natalie Futrell of Carterville, IL; Son: Billie (Thea) Adams of West Union, IL; Brother: Ronnie (Patty) Wells of Harrisburg, IL and 5 Grandchildren: Phoebe Adams, Abigail Adams, Samuel Adams, Olivia Adams and Evelyn Futrell. She was preceded in death by her parents and a Sister: Judy VanHoy.
