Brennan L. Palmer, 36, of 617 South Ledford Street, Harrisburg, IL died Wednesday November 2, 2016 at 6:56 am at Harrisburg Medical Center. Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 5, 2016 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Saturday after 11 am. Masonic Rites will be held at 12:45 pm by Raleigh Masonic Lodge 128 and Carrier Mills Blazing Star Lodge 458. Burial will be in Springvalley Cemetery. Memorials can made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. He was born on December 14, 1979 in Paducah, KY to Darrell L. Palmer and the late Cindy J. (Fort) Palmer. He was a member of the Raleigh Masonic Lodge 128 and Carrier Mills Blazing Star Lodge 458. He was a coal miner and a register referee and umpire with the Illinois High School Association. Officiating was one of his greatest joys as well as trapping and his metal detector. He is survived by his father and stepmother: Darrell and Lisa Palmer of Harrisburg, IL; 4 Children: Darian Palmer of Texas, Braxton Palmer of Harrisburg, IL; Lincoln Palmer of Marion, IL and Hayley Palmer of Mississippi; Sister: Courtney (Jonathon) Hale of Harrisburg, IL; 2 Brothers: Jacob (Trista) Palmer of Harrisburg, IL and Alex (Heather) Palmer of Harrisburg, IL; 2 Stepsisters: April (Ray) Johnson of Arizona and Amy (Justin) Reeg pf Harrisburg, IL and Stepbrother: Kenny Mayhall of Harrisburg, IL; Extended family: Tyler, Curtis, Hannah, Bobby and Gina: Several aunts and uncles including Todd Fort of Harrisburg, IL and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his Mother: Cindy Palmer.
