Gary W. Ferrell

Gary W. Ferrell, 62, of 315B West Church Street, Harrisburg, IL died Saturday November 5, 2016 at 1:45 am at the home of his mother in Harrisburg, IL. Funeral services will be held Wednesday November 9, 2016 at 12 Noon at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 10 am until services time. Reverend Charles Fox will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery will military rites by the Carrier Mills American Legion, Harrisburg American Legion and the Army National Guard Ritual Team. He was born on November 17, 1953 in Saline County, Illinois to the late Gene Ferrell and Ruth (Keith) Ferrell. He married the former Donna Macri on March 27, 1981. He was retired from the United States Army in which he served during the Vietnam War. Before his illness he was a avid outdoors man. He is survived by his Wife: Donna Ferrell of Harrisburg, IL; Mother: Ruth Ferrell of Harrisburg, IL; 3 Sons: Bryan Ferrell and Michael Ferrell both of Harrisburg, IL and Adam Ferrell of Madill, OK; Daughter: Michelle Gulley of Carrier Mills, IL; Sister: Dinah May of Harrisburg, IL; 6 Brothers: Terry Ferrell, Bill Ferrell, Benny Ferrell, Jack Ferrell, Rick Ferrell and Mike Ferrell all of Harrisburg, IL; 5 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a Son: Christopher Ferrell and Father: Gene Ferrell.
