William Henry Mitchell

William Henry Mitchell, 81, of Carrier Mills, IL died Thursday January 5, 2017 at 1:45 pm in Harrisburg Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 7, 2017 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Saturday after 10 am until service time. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery and Reverend David Angelly will officiate. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois. He was born on January 7, 1935 in Pope County, IL to the late Arbey Lee and Essie Mary (Jackson) Mitchell. Henry was a simple man and never married, he loved the outdoors and his friends. He is survived by several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 Brothers: Raymond Mitchell and Melvin Leslie Mitchell.
