Sarah Lynn Horton, 35, of 513 N. Mill Street, Carrier Mills, IL died July 5, 2017 near Carrier Mills, IL as a result of a car accident. Memorial prayer service will be held Friday September 15, 2017 at 7 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be Friday after 5 pm. Ray Wallace will conduct the prayer service. Family burial will be conducted later at Walnut Grove Cemetery. She was born on November 2, 1981 in Harrisburg, IL to Robert Horton and Kathleen (Parish) Lewis. Sarah worked as a waitress for many years and was always known as a free spirit. She is survived by her Mother: Kathleen Lewis of Carrier Mills, IL; Father: Bob Horton of Marion, IL; Daughter: Shelby Nielsen of Carrier Mills, IL; Son: Ethan Nielsen of Carrier Mills, IL; Stepfather: Steve Lewis of Carrier Mills, IL; Sister: Katie (Zach) Sanderson of Stonefort, IL; Grandmother: Shirley Tison of Harrisburg, IL; Grandmother: Emma Horton of Harrisburg, IL and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by Grandparents: Bob Horton, Bob Parish and Colleen Parish.
