Charles W. “Chuck” Parks, 67, of 106 Lori Ann Drive, Carrier Mills, IL died Wednesday November 8, 2017 at 1:48 pm at DePaul Hospital in St. Louis, MO. His request was to be cremated. He didn't wish to have any services. He will be buried at a later date in Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. He was born on November 17, 1949 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Rexal and Velma (Rose) Parks. He worked many jobs in his lifetime including a truck driver, coal miner, he was a police officer for the Carrier Mills Police Department and also Saline County Sheriff Department and also was employed for many years at the Carrier Mills Water Department. He was also a former member and President of the Moose Lodge in Tuscola, IL. He is survived by 2 Sisters: Caroline Benson of Carrier Mills, IL and Mary (Mark) Evers of Cape Girardeau, MO and a Brother: Rexal Parks Jr of Ozark, IL and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. 2 Brothers: James Loren Parks and Franklin Lee Parks and 2 Sisters: Rexaline McCarley and Judith Ann Hawkins.
