David Donald Day, Jr., 42, of Roanoke, VA died Wednesday December 6, 2017 at 3:30 am at Carilion Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA after suffering a massive stroke. Memorial graveside services will be held Wednesday December 13, 2017 at 12 noon at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. There will be no visitation, all friends should go directly to the cemetery. Reverend Harl Cockrum will officiate. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. He was born on April 20, 1975 to David Donald and Linda (Bierley) Day whom survive in Roanoke, VA. Other survivors include his Sister Michelle (Brian) Day McBee of Carrier Mills, IL; 2 Nephews: B. J. McBee and Kyle Day both of Carrier Mills, IL; Niece: Brooklyn McBee of Carrier Mills, IL; Cousin: Melissa(Synica) Day Moore of Tulsa, OK and Aunt: Anita Williams of Tampa,FL, 1 Great Niece and 4 Great Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Grandparents: Walter and Norma Cannon; 2 Uncles: Charles Day and Neal Bierley; Niece: Kristen Day and Great Nephew: Kamden Day.
