Kenneth H. Erickson, 90, of 127 Sullivan Street, Harrisburg, IL died Thursday January 4, 2018 at 7:20 am at Shawnee Rose Care Center in Harrisburg, IL. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 6, 2018 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Saturday after 11am until service time. Reverend Dewayne Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Lawn Cemetery in Harrisburg, IL with military rites by the Carrier Mills and Harrisburg American Legions and the Navy Ritual Team. Memorials may be made to Dorrisville Baptist Church or the Carrier Mills/ Harrisburg American Legion Ritual Team. He was born on April 28, 1927 in Bradley, IL to the late Roy F. and Cora Bell (Brickle) Erickson. He was married to the former Dolores Lancaster and she preceded in death; He then married the former Odella (Langford) and she preceded in death on February 11, 2007. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Dorrisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg, IL and former member and board president of the Bradley-Bourbonnais School Board. He is survived by 2 Sons: Raymond (Becky) Erickson of Woodstock, GA and Terry (Joyce) Erickson of Bradley, IL; Brother: Carl (Judy) Erickson of Bradley, IL; Special Friend: Barbara Kassner of Muddy, IL; 4 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, Son: Kenneth Edward Erickson, 6 Brothers and 2 Sisters.
