Neva J. Stricklin, 78, of 512 West Lincoln Street, Harrisburg, IL died Monday January 29, 2018 at 6:01 am at her residence. Funeral services will be held Friday February 2, 2018 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery. Reverend Darrell Simon will officiate. She was born on December 6, 1939 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Guy Davidson and Glenda (Cole) Davidson Woods. She married Walter E. Stricklin on September 1, 1956 and he preceded in death on July 14, 2010. She was a retired seamstress working many years at the Nationwide Glove Factory in Harrisburg, IL. She was also a member of the Harrisburg Church of Christ. She is survived by 2 Daughters: Teresa (James) McMillan of Harrisburg, IL and Nicole (Tracy Felty) Stricklin of Harrisburg, IL; 6 Grandchildren: Mindy Taylor of Eldorado, IL; Ashley Volkert of Harrisburg, IL; Brandon McMillan of Denver, CO; Monica Waide of Harrisburg, IL; Nicholas Dye of Thompsonville, IL and Zachary Dye of St. Genevieve, MO; 5 Great Grandchildren: Ethan Taylor, Christopher Taylor, Tyler Volkert, Elena Waide, and Shayleigh Dye; and Sister: Brenda Harris of Eldorado, IL. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son: Steve Stricklin and Sister: Annabelle Williams.
