Obituary Marla Rovena Willsey, 71, of 1120 Perkins Road, Eldorado, IL died Wednesday March 14, 2018 at 12: 30 am at her residence. Graveside services will be held Thursday March 15, 2018 at 1 pm at Palestine Cemetery south of Carrier Mills, IL. There will be no visitation. All family and friends should go directly to the cemetery. Reverend Roger Lyons will officiate. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. Memorials may be made to Hooves Animal Humane Society, 10804 McConnell Road, Woodstock, IL 60098. She was born on October 4, 1946 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Thomas and Rovena (Duncan) Ingram. She married Victor Willsey on December 27, 1964 and he survives. She was co-owner of Wilsey Way Stables for over 25 years where she bred and raced thoroughbreds. She was also involved with the Thoroughbred rescue program. She also was co-owner of Willsey Way Mowing Service. She was very active in the oudoors. She was a lifelong lover of cats and dogs and enjoyed poetry very much. She is survived by her Husband: Victor Willsey of Eldorado, IL; 2 Sons: Jay & Louise Killman Willsey of Carrier Mills, IL and Duncan (Benjie) Willsey of Harrisburg, IL and Grandson: Christopher Willsey of Harrisburg, IL. The family would like to thank Hospice of Southern Illinois for their outstanding care and a special thank you to nurses, Amy and Amanda.
