David Lee Van Hoy, 45, of 190 Fritts Road, Stonefort, IL died Wednesday January 13, 2010 at 3:00 am at his residence. Graveside services will be held Saturday January 16, 2010 at 11 am at Salem Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. There will be no visitation all friends should go directly to the cemetery. Reverend Harl Cockrum will officiate. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is in charge of arrangements. He was born on October 22, 1964 in Marion, IL to Larry & the late Judy (Wells) Van Hoy. He worked at Maytag in Herrin, IL before becoming disabled. He was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church near Harrisburg, IL. He was a graduate of Carrier Mills-Stonefort High School. He is survived by a Daughter: Payton Van Hoy of Carrier Mills, IL; Father: Larry Van Hoy of Carrier Mills, IL; Uncle: Ronnie (Pat) Wells of Harrisburg, IL; Aunt: Rita Adams of Carrier Mills, IL; Aunt Debbie (Mike) Summers of Paducah, KY and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his Mother: Judy Van Hoy and Grandparents: Charlie and Marie Wells and John and Alma Jean Van Hoy.
