Abbie Lynn Norman, 33, of Marion, IL died Sunday July 16, 2023 at St. Louis University Hospital. Tentative graveside memorial services are scheduled for Wednesday July 26, 2023 at 1 pm at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion, IL. Reverend Steve Glenn will officiate. There will be no visitation, all family and friends should go directly to the cemetery. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. She was born on December 17, 1989 in Carbondale, IL to John Walker and Nadine (Samples) Rogers. She worked as a teachers aid for many years. Abbie was a fun loving, very outgoing and free spirited person. She is survived by her Father: John Walker of Marion, IL; Mother: Nadine Rogers of Freeman Spur, IL; 4 Sisters: Mollie Samples of Marion, IL; Emilie Walker of Marion, IL; Hayley Rogers of Marion, IL and Allison Rogers of Marion, IL; Grandfather: Phil Higgerson of Marion, IL; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her Grandparents: Sam & Carol Samples and Ann Higgerson and Brother: Joshua Rogers.
