Annetta Marie “Petey” Austin, 53, of Carrier Mills, IL died Thursday August 4, 2022 at 4:50 pm at her residence. Funeral services will be held Monday August 8, 2022 at 12 noon at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Monday after 10 am. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery and Scottie Wilson will officiate. She was born on September 11, 1968 in Eldorado, IL to the late Charles “Doney” Wilson and Catherine Sue (Dillard) Cain. She married Aaron James Austin on August 27, 2005 and he survives. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her dogs. She is survived by her Husband: Aaron Austin of Carrier Mills, IL; Daughter: Megen Nicole (Billy) Taylor of Indianapolis, IN; Son: Brandon Allen (Kristy) Murphy of Harrisburg, IL; 5 Siblings: Corbette Wilson of Carrier Mills, IL; Scottie Wilson of Eldorado, IL; Shannon Solomon of Newbourn, MO; Madie Sue Wilson of Harrisburg, IL and Donnie Wilson of Carrier Mills, IL; 8 Grandchildren: Gavin Michael Sloan, Haiden Paige Taylor, Hunter Gage Taylor, Samantha Gean Harrelson, Allie Marie Murphy, Makenzie Jae Murphy, Raylan Anette Murphy and Wyatt Allen Murphy. She was preceded in death by her parents and her Poppy: David Cain.
