Barbara “Bobbie” Edwards, 85, of Carrier Mills, IL passed away on Wednesday February 23, 2022 at 4:40 pm at her residence surrounded by her family. In honoring her wishes there will be no services scheduled at this time. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. She was born on November 1, 1936 in Williamson County, IL to the late Roy and Marguerite (Doreset) Mandrell. She married Ovie Edwards on November 1, 1952. He preceded in death on June 11, 2012. She enjoyed spending time and talking with her family, reading and crocheting. She always was a member of the Carrier Mills American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She is survived by Son: Alan (Kim) Edwards of Carrier Mills, IL; Daughter: Donna (Brian) Williams of Pittsburg, IL; Grandchildren: Tiarra (Carl) Eggemeyer, Brocton Williams and Trista Williams; Sister: Audrey Buttry; Brother: Jerry Mandrell and several Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, great grandson and 3 siblings. The family would like to thank all family, friends and Southern Illinois Hospice for all the support during this time.
