Barbara Joann Young

Barbara Joann Young, 75, of Harrisburg, IL died Wednesday December 25, 2019 at 1:17 pm at Carrier Mills Nursing and Rehab Center.   Funeral services will be held Monday December 30, 2019 at 1 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be after 11 am on Monday until service time. Reverend Travis Butler will officiate and burial will be in Spring Valley Cemetery,   Joann was born on January 10, 1944 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Joseph and Nellie (Furlong) Dudley.   She married Douglas Young on June 5, 1971 and he survives.   She was a member of the Spring Valley Social Brethren Church near Rudement, IL and earlier in life she enjoyed reading.   Joann is survived by her Husband: Douglas Young of Carrier Mills, IL; Daughter: Gail (Greg) Bradley of Harrisburg, IL; 2 Sisters: Ova Lee Reynolds of Harrisburg, IL and Molly Anglin of Evansville, IN; Brother: Jim Dudley of Harrisburg, IL and several nieces and nephews.   Joann was preceded in death by her parents, Grandson: Devan Lore; 3 Sisters: Bonnie Jones, Monzell Butler and Marvelle Sutton and 6 Brothers: Leon Dowdy, Raymond Murell Dowdy, George Dudley, Sam Dudley, Aaron Dudley and Jack Dudley.
