Carla J. Turner

Carla June Turner, 70, of Stonefort, IL, died Thursday May 19, 2022 at 1:54 pm at her residence. Celebration of Life services will be held Wednesday May 25, 2022 from 5 to 7 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Carla was born on July 14, 1951 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Dennis Carl and Agatha D. (Baker) Tanner. She married Corum Turner on May 11, 1974 and he survives. Carla was a retired beautician, operating her own shop for many years. She loved the outdoors, working in her garden and taking care of her beautiful flowers and plants, she had even earned a certificate in horticulture because of this love. She was a member of the Springhill Baptist Church. Carla is survived by her Husband: Corum Turner of Stonefort, IL; Son: Corey Turner of Metropolis, IL; Daughter: Cassie Turner of Stonefort, IL; 3 Grandchildren: Cord Turner of Marion, IL; Carlee Bletsch of Stonefort, IL and Core~yah Turner of Metropolis, IL and 3 Sisters: Jan (Tom) Hancock of Stonefort, IL; Peggy (Mick) Shreffler of Stonefort, IL and Cheryl Hosmon of Marion, IL; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
