Carroll W. Lewis, 86, of Stonefort, IL died Friday July 8, 2022 at 8:05 pm at Harrisburg Medical Center. Memorial services will be held Saturday July 16, 2022 at 11 am at The Old Stonefort Seventh Day Baptist Church located at 1545 Old Town Road, Stonefort, IL. Visitation will be Saturday after 10:30 am at the church. Pastor Glen Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Joyner Cemetery. Potluck will follow at the Stonefort Community Center. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. He was born on September 15, 1935 in Stonefort, IL to the late Oliver and Katie (Crank) Lewis. He married the former Rose Martinos on April 2, 1955 and she survives. Carroll worked for many years in the Electrical Production Field. He loved to hunt and fish especially in Canada where he visited many times. He is survived by his Wife: Rose Lewis of Stonefort, IL; 3 Children: Christina (Pat) Szostek of Portage, IN; Gregory C. Lewis of Stonefort, IL and David M. Lewis of Milton, FL; Sister: Alice Ruth Brown of Pennsylvania & Florida; and 7 Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents; Son: Anthony Lewis; 6 Brothers: Ray Lewis, Charles Lewis, Lester Lewis, Harry Lewis, Claude Lewis and Hubert Lewis and 3 Sisters: Beulah Denard, Myrtle Walker and Laura Streich.
