Christopher Elijah Ward, 17 of Louisville, Ky passed away on Thursday April 23, 2020. Private Graveside services will be held at Lakeview Cemetery in Carrier Mills, IL. Reverend Ownly Williams will officiate. Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. Chris was born in Carbondale, Il on March 19, 2003 to Keya Barnes and Christopher Ward. He was a senior at Moore High School in Louisville, Ky. Chris was also known by his nickname “Uno”, everybody that knew Uno loved him. Chris and his family enjoyed traveling and making memories while doing so. He also liked to spend time playing video games, and hanging with his cousins. Chris is survived by his mother Keya and his father Chris. His grandparents, Linda Kincaid and Charles Barnes. His brothers Marquis and Kyrie, his sisters Destiny, Xaila and Alahni and a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents Sabrina Godsey and Phillip Ward. The family of Christopher Ward wishes to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers and acts of kindness during this difficult time.
