Colleen Benson, 76, of Harrisburg, IL died Sunday February 11, 2024 at 7:07 pm at Harrisburg Medical Center. She has been cremated, burial will take place Saturday February 24, 2024 at 11 am at Walnut Grove Cemetery . Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family. Colleen was born on September 6, 1947 in Saline County, IL tot he late Leo William and Mary Virginia (Principe) McDermott. She enjoyed going out with her family, watching TV and doing crossword puzzles. Colleen is survived by 4 Children: Jeanie Benson of Carbondale, IL; Steven Benson of Du Quoin, IL; Mary Benson of Harrisburg, IL and John Benson of Harrisburg, IL; Brother: John McDermott of Carrier Mills, IL and 2 Sisters: Judy Comer of Carrier Mills, IL and Nora Fitzgerald of Carrier Mills, IL and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; Daughter: Laura Benson; Son Jim Robertson; Brother: Tom McDermott and 2 Sisters: Cora Foster and Karen Stillwell.
