Cora Sue Brown, 70, of Carrier Mills, IL died Friday October 8, 2021 at 1:35 am at Eldorado Rehab & Healthcare. Funeral services will be held Sunday October 10, 2021 at 3 pm at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be after 2 pm on Sunday until service time. Reverend Jeff Owens will officiate. Sue was born on June 1, 1951 in McLeansboro, IL to the late Thomas and Grace (Edwards) Mayberry. She loved to work her word search puzzles, play Facebook games and go fishing and camping. She is survived by 3 Daughters: Regina (Patrick) Freeman on Gainesville, FL; Sandy Yates of North Carolina and Pamela (Michael) Green of Carterville, IL; Son: Brian Yates of Carrier Mills, IL; Companion: John Howard of Carrier Mills, IL; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 Children: Karen Mayberry and Scotty Yates; 3 Brothers: Art Mayberry; Jim Mayberry; Loyd Mayberry and 2 Sisters: Helen Crow and Ruby Cluck.
