Cora Mae Foster

Cora Mae Foster, 68, of Carrier Mills, IL died Sunday September 23, 2018 at 6:10 pm at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale. Funeral services will be held Saturday September 29, 2018 at 11 am at Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 pm. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery. Reverend Clifford Clark will officiate.   She was born on November 14, 1949 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Leo William and Mary Virginia (Principe) McDermott.   She married David Foster on June 28, 1974 and he preceded in death on April 12, 2011.   She was the assistant manager at CVS Pharmacy in Harrisburg, IL before her retirement. Cora loved watching hummingbirds and was a Chicago Cubs fan just like her daddy.   She is survived by 2 Sons: Don Stewart and Bill Foster both of Carrier Mills, IL; Granddaughter: Kirsten Travelstead of Harrisburg, IL; 2 Brothers: John (Debbie) McDermott of Stonefort, IL; and Tom (Sue) McDermott of Carrier Mills, IL; 4 Sisters: Karen (Bob) Stillwell of Stonefort, IL, Colleen Benson of Harrisburg, IL; Judy (Bob) Comer and Nora Fitzgerald both of Carrier Mills, IL and a Special Cousin: Cora Lou Potter of Galatia, IL,   She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband: David Foster and Daughter: Tommie Lynn Stewart.
