Cynthia "Cindy" L. Brown

Cynthia "Cindy" Brown, 65, of Vienna, IL died on Tuesday August 13, 2024 at 2:30 am at her place of residence. Funeral services will be held Monday August 19, 2024 at 12 Noon at Felty Funeral Home of Carrier Mills, IL. Visitation will be held Monday after 10 am. Reverend Charles Curry will officiate and burial will be in Sunset Garden Cemetery. Cynthia was born on August 10, 1959 to the late Thomas Herschel and Katherine (Lindsey) Winters in Evansville, IN. She married Willard Brown on December 19, 2003. Willard preceded her in death on November 5th of 2020. Cynthia received her associates degree then went to work as a Medical Assistant for many years. In her free time she enjoyed making crafts and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her son: Ryan Duvall of Louisiana and daughter: Katie (Derrick) Martin of Mt. Vernon, Illinois; 2 step-children: Skylar (Mckenzie Stewart) Henshaw of Harrisburg, IL and Jeremy Brown of Muddy, IL; grandchildren: Brooke Duvall, Kia Martin, Sylas Henshaw, Laylah Henshaw, Scarlett Henshaw, Skylar Henshaw Jr., Kace Jackson, Kaylex Gibbs, Heather Brown, Jeremiah Brown and Bella Brown; sisters: Clara (H.J.) Logsdon of Shawneetown, IL, Lou Eva (C.I.) Oldham of Shawneetown, IL, Paula (Clarence) Curry of Junction, IL and Tammy Winters of Vienna, IL; and brothers: Mike Malone of Junction, IL, Tom Winters (Mike McDonald) of Bradenton, FL and Bill Winters of Portland, TN; and special brother-in-law Tom (Lori) Brown of Carrier Mills, IL. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents: Thomas Herschel and Katherine (Lindsey) Winters; husband: Willard Brown; and sister: Joanna Durham.
