Dale Ferrell, 86, of Harrisburg, IL died Sunday November 22, 2020 at 1:30 am at Saline Care Center in Harrisburg, IL. Dale's wishes was to be cremated, at this time no services will be scheduled. Felty Funeral Home in Carrier Mills, IL is assisting the family with the details. He was born on February 25, 1934 in Harrisburg, IL to the late Roby and Elsie (Jones) Ferrell. Dale married the former Donna Yates on August 8, 1955 and they had been married 65 years. He was a retired truck driver and also worked as a laborer. He was also a member of the Dorrisville Baptist Church in Harrisburg, IL. Dale is survived by his Wife: Donna Ferrell of Harrisburg, IL; Son: Greg Ferrell of Metropolis, IL; 2 Sisters: Linda (Don) Carnett of Oklahoma City, OK and Lodema Sisk of Harrisburg, IL; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and adopted family: Robert, Mary, Gillian and Riley Jones of Harrisburg, IL. Dale was preceded in death by his parents: Son: Clinton Ferrell; Daughter: Jana Ferrell; Sister: Velda Ruth Ferrell; Brother: Dennis Dean Ferrell and Grandson: Jeremy Ferrell.
